Student Wellbeing and Inclusion provides high quality, professional services to support potential and current students from their initial
enquiry to Edinburgh Napier University through to graduation. We aim to provide a positive and supportive environment for all students and staff on the basis of individual merits, ability and potential.
We are currently looking to recruit an Inclusion Services Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and continue to develop an innovative student focused service. In partnership with the Head of Student Wellbeing and Inclusion, you will lead and drive forward two key strategic areas: inclusion for disabled students and student financial inclusion.
Further to this, you will lead and manage the Student Disability Inclusion team and provide direction and support to the Student Funding Team Leader to deliver a range of services to support student academic success and retention. You will be responsible for setting and communicating strategy, policies and team delivery plans in order that the University meets or exceeds its statutory obligations in relation to equality legislation.
Who Are We Looking For?
Our ideal candidate will have significant experience as a disability and/or student-funding practitioner and will have experience of strategic contribution to planning, development and delivery in the context of enhancing the student experience.
Candidates will ideally have a background in Higher Education, ideally within the management of student support services, and will have extensive experience in delivering student disability or funding services. With this, they will have an understanding of equality legislation and direct experience of developing and implementing equality and diversity focused policies and plans.
