Equate Scotland is the national expert organisation on women's under-representation in science, engineering, technology and the built environment. We are hosted by and partner with Edinburgh Napier University.

The role
We are looking for a Finance and Operations Co-ordinator to join our team for 21.75 hours per week on a fixed term contract. You will lead the Support team (currently consisting of this role, a Project Administrator and Events Organiser) in providing financial and administrative support to Equate Scotland. You will work closely with the Director of Equate Scotland to optimise the organisation's financial strategy and ensure continued financial sustainability.

Who we are looking for
This role is ideal for someone with a proactive and organised approach with extensive experience in financial administration and experience in line managing a team. You will have an eye for detail and be able to manage your time effectively.
Applicants must demonstrate: Practical experience of financial administration, evidencing their experience in procurement processes, budget analysis and financial reporting Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage their own time effectively and prioritise tasks whilst working to deadlinesExcellent team working
The ideal candidate would have a working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Agresso) although training would be provided.
