The School of Engineering and the Built Environment is delighted to be able to offer a new post for a Robotics/Automation Technician. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding applicant to maintain the Schools facilities, classrooms, laboratories and workshops in order to effectively support students and staff within the School to deliver an excellent student and teaching experience.
The School of Engineering & the Built Environment (SEBE) offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes that are widely recognised for their academic quality, innovation and close ties to the industries in which our graduates work. All of our programmes are accredited by the relevant professional body, including the IET, IHE, ICE, IStructE, IoM3, JBM and Energy Institute. We are currently undertaking a review of all of our activities, so now is a great time to join and help shape the future of our School.
The role
The role holder is responsible for delivering a high quality technical service to support academic and research activities in the School of Engineering & the Built Environment, offering practical support and expert knowledge in an automation, robotics and software render context and will work closely with academic colleagues to support and advise undergraduate and postgraduate students on engineering courses.
