The Robin Mackenzie Partnership is one of the UK’s largest acoustic consultancies and a leader in its field.
Established over 50 years ago, the practice has been operating as an acoustic consultancy division of Edinburgh Napier University since 1997 and is internationally recognised for its expert advice on sound insulation, architectural acoustic design, industrial noise reduction, environmental noise and vibration control to a number of high-profile clients.
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are currently looking for a talented and dedicated individual to join the team as an Acoustic and Air Tightness Tester, to support our Acoustic Consultants on a range of large design projects.
The Role:
This role offers the opportunity to work within one of the UK’s leading acoustic and energy research and consulting teams.
As Acoustic and Air Tightness Tester, you will have the opportunity to undertake sound insulation testing, environmental noise measurements, air tightness tests and thermographic surveys for a number of new and existing construction and renovation developments.
The post will also offer you experience of a wide range of situations to compliment your existing knowledge, as you will be directly involved in responding to incoming enquiries, liaising between RMP staff and external clients to arrange for on-site acoustic and airtightness testing, and participating in all necessary field work.

Salary: £22,254 - £26,341 per annum (Grade 3)
