Equate Scotland is the national expert organisation on women’s under-representation in science, engineering, technology and the built environment. We are hosted by and partner with Edinburgh Napier University.
We are based in the heart of Edinburgh city centre in the Edinburgh Napier University Craiglockhart campus. We work with industry, academia, the Scottish Government and public bodies to make tangible and sustainable change, enabling more women to study and work in these key sectors.

The role
As the Project and Recruitment Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for managing Equate Scotland’s successful recruitment hub. You will develop a network of industry contacts and promote the women- focused, recruitment platform to them in order to achieve the target of adverts to meet every year. You will support employers and recruiters to consider gender bias in their recruitment and marketing and work with them to develop good inclusive recruitment practices and workplace cultures. You will work closely with other members of the Equate team supporting delivery of our wider service and projects.

Who we are looking for
This role is ideal for someone with a proactive and organised approach. You will have the ability to manage projects effectively, prioritise tasks and actively seek out opportunities. Excellent communication skills are key, both verbally and written, to ensure clear and effective interaction with a range of people. You will have demonstrable experience of working within a team, supporting colleagues as this role requires the ability to work with the wider Equate Team in delivery of our wider service and projects.
