We are currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in RMP. Since 1997 RMP has been operating as an acoustic consultancy division of Edinburgh Napier University practicing from offices across the UK. We provide expert advice on sound insulation, architectural acoustic design, industrial noise reduction, environmental noise and vibration control to a number of high-profile clients. Our consultants are key to the success of over 600 projects per year including the development of Robust Details and previous flagship projects Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh, the Stirling Prize Winning Magna Centre in Rotherham, and the Scottish Government offices. The role
As an Administrative Assistant, within RMP's support team, you will provide a comprehensive administrative service to the RMP team whilst working with a broad portfolio of responsibility. As well as providing support to the team for day to day activities, you will be expected to support the RMP Senior Management in ad-hoc projects and operational matters including financial, marketing and events. This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UK’s leading acoustic and energy research and consulting teams.

Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have an HNC/HND (or equivalent) with prior administrative experience (preferably gainedwithin further or higher education). You will have strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and juggle priorities as required. You will be comfortable with working to agreed deadlines and will enjoy working within a team environment.
Attention to detail and strong IT skills are paramount for these roles. The successful candidate will be a proficient user of Microsoft Office packages and we will provide you with full in-house training of a number of systems including RMP's project management database and the University's systems.Experience with design software (Illustrator, In-Design, Photoshop) would be advantageous however training will also be provided.

Salary: £22,254 - 26,341 per annum (Grade 3)
