Pathway - Teaching and Learning
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic new team member as a Lecturer in Marketing who is excellent at teaching and has a strong research profile.
We are particularly looking for candidates with experience in any of the following marketing topics and tracks: Digital Marketing, Marketing Strategy, Marketing Communications
and International Marketing.

The subject area of Marketing promotes research informed teaching and pedagogical approach to our learning, teaching and assessment activities with strong industry links. We develop a cutting-edge curriculum with high employability rates and student satisfaction that serves industry demand.
The role
Yours will be a role of high visibility in the Marketing subject area, promoting the subject and the Business School.
You will be expected to lead/ teach on at least one Marketing module, team teach on another, perhaps lead a programme, or act as deputy for a programme. Your teaching duties will operate across the academic year delivering teaching face to face on campus, internationally in France, Hong Kong, or Singapore, and to our Global Online students. You will be required to supervisor UG ad PG dissertations.
You will be expected to source and conduct collaborative, as well as individual research projects, which contribute to the research profile of the Business School. You will contribute significantly to the University's objective of growing our academic reputation for research informed and engaged student learning. We will expect you to engage with your Marketing colleagues and assist us to achieve our teaching, learning and research objectives. Our research themes are Branding, Digital Marketing, Consumer Behaviour and International Marketing.
Who we are looking for
You will have a Doctoral level qualification and appropriate relevant professional qualifications. You will also have teaching / training experience and a track-record / trajectory of research, publications and of perhaps evidence of some income generation.
You will have a broad grasp of the key Marketing concepts and research streams in the Marketing subject area, and of course a sound grasp of those in your specific area of expertise.
Some travel may be required as a number of our programmes / modules are delivered off campus.
