In the past 15 years, the MA Screenwriting programme at Edinburgh Napier has evolved to become one of the strongest in the UK, challenging students to deliver a range of creative work in different formats for film and television, and to develop craft skills in screenwriting, script editing and development along with an awareness of the changing global landscapes of film and television.
We now wish to appoint a part-time Lecturer to deliver face to face teaching into our postgraduate and undergraduate programmes, and to help design and deliver a new online Masters programme in Screenwriting and Development. This will be a 0.5 position (2.5 days / 17.5 hours per week) with a permanent contract. You will join a growing and vibrant research centre which is seeking to build on this year’s REF submission to grow income and PhD student numbers.
