We are currently looking for two Acoustic & Airtightness Testers to join our team in RMP. Since 1997 RMP has been operating as an acoustic consultancy division of Edinburgh Napier University, with over 20 consultant practising from offices across the UK and France. We provide expert advice on sound insulation, architectural acoustic design, industrial noise reduction, environmental noise and vibration control to a number of high profile clients. The role
As an Acoustic and Airtightness Tester you will undertake sound insulation testing, environmental noise surveys and air tightness testing. You will assist the consultants in carrying out their consultancy and research on a range of exciting projects across the UK.
We will provide you with full in-house acoustic and airtightness training and you will be expected to complete the iATS air tightness training. Alongside this there will also be the opportunity to undertake fully funded IOA diploma.

Who are we looking for?
You will ideally have an undergraduate degree in the following disciplines; Building Engineering, Acoustics, Energy, Environmental Science, however alternative relevant experience will also be considered. It would be desirable if you have experience within an acoustic or air tightness consultancy however this is not essential. As there will be travel included in this post, it is essential you have a full driving licence.
