The Department of Learning and Teaching Enhancement team at Edinburgh Napier University is a small group of advisers dedicated to helping students understand and adjust to the expectations of studying at university-level. The team offers inclusive, accessible academic and study skills guidance to help students develop as effective, independent learners and achieve their potential.
The role
We are currently recruiting an Academic Skills Adviser, responsible for providing coherent academic skills and learning development through the provision of workshops, tutorials and one-to-one advice and guidance.
You will work closely with other members of the team and with programme and module leaders across the university on providing open and integrated academic skills sessions tailored to a diverse range of students.
You will also contribute to the delivery, promotion and continuous improvement of the service working with colleagues across the University to support Edinburgh Napier University’s strategic objectives.

Salary: £33,309 - £39,739 per annum (Grade 5)
