Job description
We are looking for a talented Head of Marketing and Communications, who can shape and steer our marketing strategy as well as provide inspiring leadership to a great team.
With over 19,500 students and 1500 staff,

In this role, you will create and deliver an innovative student recruitment strategy that will attract students from a range of backgrounds, both nationally and internationally. You will ensure that we keep our students engaged and informed during their time with us through exciting and creative communications across a range of social media and other communications channels.
As Head of Marketing and Communications, you will develop the Edinburgh Napier brand through a team a Marketing Partners who work closely with each of our six Schools to showcase leading research, celebrate connections with industry and build partnerships across a range of key stakeholders. Your team of designers will support these activities by experimenting with innovative and creative solutions for campaigns which will help to reach target audiences with impact.
With significant marketing experience, you will have an up-to-date understanding of the latest digital marketing developments and social media platforms. You will have experience of leading large strategic projects and managing those to time and within budget. Stakeholder management and relationship building skills are key and you will have experience of this at a senior level. As an experienced leader, you will role model our values - ambitious; professional; innovative and inclusive to create an environment in which your team can flourish.
