Lecturer in Graphic Design – Full time, Permanent
Job description
We are looking for an experienced, energetic and dynamic individual to lead the delivery of our multi award-winning BDes(Hons) Graphic Design programme into the next phase of its development. Founded 13 years ago, the programme has to date won nearly sixty student design awards, as well as four times in the last five years receiving a best in show award at D&AD
New Blood graduate showcase in London.
This is one of the top Graphic Design programmes in the UK. We have strong links with industry, locally, nationally and internationally.
Graduates enjoy exceptionally high employability prospects with leading agencies and consultancies. We are led by creative inquiry and skills, exploration and experimentation, informed by socio-political themes, instilling in our graduates a sense of global citizenship and social responsibility.
Edinburgh is home to the world's largest arts festival, world class museums and galleries and has a vibrant design and media industry. Scotland's capital is an international city, well connected to Lon-don and other European design hubs.
The role is at our Merchiston Campus in our School of Arts & Creative Industries (SACI) that is located in the beautiful and historic heart of Morningside, Edinburgh. The School hosts a range of undergraduate and post-graduate programmes, and plays an active part in the creative industries in Scotland. To find more information about SACI please
