We currently have a great opportunity available for an academic or researcher with expertise in User Experience Design / Human – Computer Interaction (UX/HCI) or related fields to join the Creative and Social Informatics research groups where you can add to the work of the experienced team exploring User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Creative Informatics, Human Centred Design and Social Informatics.
The Role:
In this role you will be expected to deliver excellent research in your area of expertise and to explore new research areas as well. Areas of desirable expertise include, but are not limited to: digital media, user experience design, animation, digital story telling, human - data interaction, service design, sustainable and ethical design, social computing. You will also have the opportunity to support the delivery of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Digital Media, UX Design and Animation. Students study a wide variety of fields such as video development, 3D animation and modelling, digital imaging, creative technologies, research through design and UX/ID.
